My After-Birthday Vacation Day Trip Pt 2

As promised, I'm continuing my after-birthday adventure with several more fun places I've gone with my best friend, Lynn, and again, this took place last month. Our first stop was at Plagido's winery at 570 N 1st Rd, Hammonton, NJ https://www.plagidoswinery.com. They specialize in handcrafted artisanal wines using a basket press, and their tasting options will pique your interest. You can choose a 5oz. glass of dry, sweet, or combo for $12.00, or experience a wine flight of 3 3oz pour each (9oz total) for $15.00. And remember to check out their cheese plates (menu upon request) for 15.99. They also offer various food options to pair with your wine, including charcuterie boards and gourmet sandwiches.

Plagido's winery is designed to cater to all types of visitors, whether you're exploring on your own or with a group. They've made it simple to plan your visit, offering the option to reserve a spot by phone or online, with a form available on their website.

This convenient system ensures you can relax and enjoy your visit without any worries.

Our next stop on our fun adventure takes us 3.7 miles, which is an excellent 5min drive to another winery called DiMatteo Winery & Vineyard located at 951 8th St. Hammonton, NJ dimatteovineyards.com

DiMatteo Winery & Vineyard, a family-owned establishment since 2001, is a place where everyone is welcome. With 14 acres of cultivated grapes producing 1500 crates a year, they offer tastings of their award-winning wines and host family-friendly events like sip and paint, grape stomping and live music.  This warm and inviting atmosphere will make you feel right at home.

At DiMatteo, we understand that your furry friends are part of the family. That's why we're a dog-friendly place, where you can bring your adorable four-legged pooch outside and lie around while you and whomever can enjoy DiMatteo's Award-winning wines. It's where everyone, including your pets, can relax and have a good time. This inclusive policy ensures that no one is left out of the fun.

Now, for the next trip, it is another 6-minute drive to Vinyl Brewery, located at 300 12th St, Hammonton, NJ, vinylbrewingnj.com. This excellent brewery has several different craft beer varieties.

Our next destination, Vinyl Brewery, is a place of unique charm. Owned by the dynamic husband-and-wife team Tom and Sue Puenets, along with their partner John Sacco, this brewery is a testament to their passion. The venue itself is a sight to behold, with craft beer cans adorning the ceiling.  You can do a tasting for a few dollars and get up to four craft beer or craft seltzer selections. Vinyl is a BYOF (Bring Your Food) venue, allowing you to choose from the area's restaurants.

Our final stop on my birthday vacation was Rack's Pub & Grill, located at 286 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.

www.rackspubandgrill.com . Another location is at 2021 N Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ: Rack's offers live bands, food, and drink specials. You can watch your favorite team games on their big-screen TVs indoors or in their outdoor bar area with multiple Big-Screen TVs. Go Phillies and Eagles!!  Lynn, the diva planner, and I shared  Rack's famous wings with your choice of sauces, cheesesteaks, fries, and Rack's Banging Shrimp. I had the Pineapple martini for cocktails, and they also serve local craft beers from different breweries and the usual Miller, Bud, and Coors Beers.

Well, was this all of the places I've been to on my post-birthday? Think again, my readers; more to come in my next post, as they say in show business to be continued.  Remember to like, share, and follow my blog for more unique adventures I take you all on.

Until then, live life and be safe,

Jerzy P 🚗🍴🍷😊
