Three 3's Brewery

Happy New Year to everyone. I would like to begin the year by expressing my gratitude for following this wonderful blog. I will continue to share the places I plan to explore this year.  Let's get 2025 off to a great start!

Last year, Lynn and I decided to have a girls' night out at Sharrott Winery. Afterwards, we drove separate cars to Three 3's Brewery, a brewery not too far from the winery in Hammonton. Three 3's is located at 50 13th Street www.three3sbrewing.com a family-owned and operated independent brewing company located outside of downtown Hammonton, NJ, and about 40 mins. From Philadelphia.

Their tasting room has a very special selection of rotating craft beers across various styles as well as a variety of hard seltzers. They aim to have a little something for everyone and their outdoor beer garden allows the guests to enjoy their drinks and watch the sunset during the spring, summer, and fall weather months. You can also find Three 3's products distributed at fine retailers and restaurants throughout NJ and Eastern Pennsylvania. Oh, and before I forget there is a genius of a bartender named Krystal who knows her craft beers and she also likes to mix different craft beers together to create a cool concoction. Special shout out to Krystal!

Well, that is my first new, post for 2025. As always, please like, follow, and spread the word. I am continually seeking who are interested in those discovering the best spots both in and out of state.

Again, Happy New Year, and travel safely.

Update : Ark Road Brewery CLOSED

On March 30 I blogged about Ark Rd Brewery in Lumberton. Unfortunately, I have sad news to share that Ark Road has abruptly closed its doors for good here is an article on the closing of Ark Road Brewery:

I will miss the vibe and the wonderful food of Ark Road. And I hope that whoever takes over the building will turn it into another beautiful brewery.

Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant

Many breweries in the New Jersey area have BYOF (Your Own Food policy, but this particular brewery chain has a sure restaurant to please customers and friends together. Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant www.ironhillbrewery.com was founded in the 1990s when Kevin Finn received a home brewing for his wife on her birthday. What began as a fun hobby became a passion leading them to brewing competitions and win numerous awards. Four years later, the couple met restaurant professional Kevin Davies, and the trio decided to an innovative brewery and restaurant. Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant was established on November 14th, 1996, at147 East Main., Newark, Delaware. Within Iron Hill entered the American Association's Great American Beer Festival (GABF), the industry's premier competition.

In 1998, the three opened another location in West Chester, PA. The rest, as they say, is history. In 2020, amid COVID-19, Iron Hill continued to push forward with two locations by the end of the year: one in Atlanta, GA, and one in Exton, PA, which will open as Iron Hill Brewery TapHouse. With the new large-scale production at the Exton location, Iron Hill entered the off-premise beer market, with availability at retail markets in Delaware, Southern PA, and South NJ.

Iron Hill's menu is exceptional; you order a variety of superb tap-table food such as Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls, Jumbo Bavarian pretzels, truffle fries, and nachos. I was in the Maple Shade location over the holidays, and I had the Pub Burger with thick-cut bacon sharp cheddar, and smoked gouda on a pretzel bun. If you are a member of Iron Hill's King of the Hill rewards club by the way it's only 20.00 to join, you can earn points for food, drink from exclusive 22oz. Mugs (for the cost of a regular pint) and receive very cool exclusive perks and offers at all Iron Hill restaurants and TapHouse locations.

And they also have very delicious desserts made from craft beers too. Yum.

That concludes my adventure. As always please ensure you follow, like, and share the news my amazing day trip outings.  Until next time have fun and enjoy life.

Girls holiday In Philadelphia

Yesterday, my best friend Lynn texted me, inviting me for a train ride to Philly to visit the Christmas village, followed by brunch at The Continental Mid-town. How could I resist? We boarded the Patco train at Haddonfield station, ridepatco.org where a round trip from Lindenwold, NJ (if you reside there) to 16th & Locust St. in Philadelphia costs $5.20. Our first destination was JFK Plaza (Love Park), located on Arch St., or at 1501 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Philadelphia. www.phila.gov During the holidays, this 2-acre park, opposite City Hall, becomes a German-style Christmas village, offering handcrafted items and brick-and-mortar shops for holiday shopping. And if you're in the mood for food and drinks They have Bratwurst with sauerkraut, soft pretzels, hot dogs, and sweet treats. As for drinks, you can have adult beverages at a beer garden spiked hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream also you can purchase holiday mugs that you can keep. In the center of the park, they have live holiday music for the entire family.  The Next stop is Dilworth Park located at 1 S 15th St, Philadelphia centercityphila.org By City Hall, there is a modern urban park featuring a splash fountain during the summer, cafes, and seasonal events such as outdoor movies. During the summer, the park offers a roller-skating rink, while in the winter, it transforms into an ice-skating rink with refreshments and a beautiful cabin where visitors can warm up and enjoy time with family and friends. Additionally, the Greenfield Lawn hosts a festive Wintergarden through March. During December, The Made Philadelphia Holiday Market through January 1st, except on Christmas Day from 12 to 8pm Sunday through Thursday, and staying open late 9pm on Friday and Saturday. There is no better place to experience the magic of Christmas than Dilworth Park, where you can walk around and shop for arts and crafts at the Holiday Market. You can also bring your kids to enjoy fun rides like a giant Ferris wheel and a huge carousel in the center of City Hall. For smaller children, there is a kiddie train that can take them to Santa Claus. Check out the huge Christmas tree sponsored by 6abc in Philadelphia.

Dilworth Park Made in America Christmas Village.

After visiting the charming shops at the Christmas villages, we dined at the most retro restaurant in Philadelphia where the food was excellent! I'm talking about The Continental Mid-town located at 1801 Chestnut St. continentalmidtown.com The atmosphere evokes the 1960 with swinging basket chairs, an airy patio completed with a fireplace, and restrooms that resemble a police interrogation room featuring-one-way mirrors in both the men's and women's facilities.

The menu is exquisite. We had appetizers such as cheesesteak eggrolls and French onion soup dumplings. For entrees, Lynn and I Korean Chicken with kimchi slaw and pickled cucumber. For drinks, Lynn had a Bloody Mary, and I had a peach mimosa (delicious). We both had espresso martinis and I'm telling you it was amazing.

Additionally, there's another Continental restaurant that is permanently closed at 138 Market, Old City location. Just a heads up.

After that, we headed back to the train station and headed back to the Jersey side at a unique restaurant called Reunion Hall located at 206 Haddon Ave, Haddon Township, NJ reunionhallnj.com. Reunion Hall boasts a 5-square-foot interior and a 4,000-square-foot exterior space, featuring both indoor and outdoor dining paired with two unique bar sections. Offer 56 different craft beers on tap from local breweries, along with cocktail and wine lists. Additionally, there are three distinct restaurants with diverse menu options, ranging from Philly cheesesteaks to vegan menus, to satisfy various cravings. We had the most enjoyable Girls' Day trip ever. Lynn remarked, "We're the fun ones." And she's right πŸ˜„.

Our adventure for today has come to an end, but where my journeys will take me next, only time will tell. Before I bid farewell, I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. Love one another and remain kind to all, no matter the circumstances. We can all find common ground with each other. And as always, like, follow, and spread the word.

 Have fun and travel safe,
